Should I Stand or Sit

I ran the spin class this morning and the ride was taken from what was suppose to be a super Bowl Ride. It consisted of two groups doing different positions at the same time. But because I am in the land of the Patriots and not the Giants, I had to come up with different teams. So I pondered the problem for a week, stayed up at night, searching the Internet for a solution and finally after days of agony I came up with the answer.....divide the class into women and men. Genius if I do say so myself.

So the ride was done in 8 minute segments with the women doing, say a fast flat and the men doing a seated climb. After a certain amount of time they would switch. The men would do the fast flat and the women would do the seated climb.

So the whole ride takes about 48 minutes to complete. And in my world it's not to hard to understand the concept. But every once in a while I would look up and there would be a women standing while she should be sitting or a man sitting when he should be standing. This is not rocket science but holy cow come on.

So next time I have one of these types of rides, I am going to lay it all out on a paper bag in crayon so everyone gets it.....I hope.

All in all it was a good ride and everyone semed to enjoy it. And remember...You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink, though you can shoot him and make him dinner!

One of the songs I used Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes 'The love I Lost'.

Did you have them rate the music? Did you ride as a male or female?

I don't have to have my music rated......they all love it.

And I rode as a hermaphrodite.
