One of the good things about having a blog, is that you can go back and read about what you were doing on this day in the past. It's like having a public diary.

Last year on the 7Th my wife and I were heading to New Jersey as a stop off before heading to South Carolina. The trip started in the snow and my wife was in the throws of a, in her mind, terror filled ride. Your pal was,as usually, was cool as a cucumber. And you know how cool they are.

In 2010 it was sunday Funnies.
Mixed Emotions

A husband and wife were sitting watching a TV program about psychology
and explaining the phenomenon of "mixed emotions."

The husband turned to his wife and said, "Honey, that's a bunch of crap.
I bet you can't tell me anything that will make me happy
and sad at the same time."

She said: "Out of all your friends,
you have the biggest penis."

2009 "Pinch Hitting Again" is about me standing in for the spin instructor who did not show. Naturally I did a great job and elevated my status as a spin God to all the little people.

2008 Government at Work.The Supreme Court ruled that the Environmental Protection Agency had the authority to regulate greenhouse gas emissions. I also had a clip of Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) asking Stephen Johnson, the EPA administrator, a simple question during a Senate appropriations subcommittee hearing. And it showed him dancing around the answer. I guess nothing changes.

2007 I did not start this blog till August.

So that's it. "What sort of day was it? A day like all days, filled with those events that alter and illuminate our times ... and you were there."
