I Just Want to Read About ME

I found out today that a person the I like and respect very much is not reading every single word in every post. I won't mention her name i'll just refer to her a ESG. Well from now on I may put a reference to ESG in every post. This I think will get her to read all of the words of wisdom from your Pal. Thank you and good night.

I've told you before Uncle Willie, you have to accept sometimes that people you admire can have feet of clay. I don't know who this ESG character is, so I'm going to call this person Eh Me instead.

On a completely unrelated topic, I have been hoping to hear from Amy as to how she went in her race (and if her son beat her). Does anyone know?

Oh William,

If all I need to read is the "words of wisdom" than I might as well skip through all the posts.

And for those of you who didn't hear the actual conversation ( you might find this hard to believe), I didn't really say that. What I did say was that I skimmed through the posts that weren't related to SPINNING. Thank you. I have now learned a valuable lesson that anything I say CAN and WILL be TWISTED and DISTORTED and used against me.

Mr Snootles,

Yes, the race went well enough for me and excellent for my son. He beat his old lady by a very strong 5 minutes creaming me on the swim and the run. I did manage to smoke on the bike and that is good enough for me. A great experience overall! Thanks for asking?

I meant... "Thanks for asking!'

I am deeply hurt. I don't know how I will make it through class tonight. The only good thing is that my tears, falling on the wheel, will loosen the tension a bit.

Don't worry Willie,

I'm sure I'll inadvertently throw you a nugget or two. You will be able to crucify one of us poor spinning junkies with your tender words somehow-someway.

I'm confident that someday you might even be able to ward off all the pain and suffering...

The only problem with that Uncle Willie is that it is NOT a good thing that the tears will loosen the tension.

I have to join Amy on this one and admit I pay the closest attention to the spin class posts. I like any post which is amusing, but don't bother with the political posts at all.

But then, Uncle Willie, I've already gone on record as saying what I like about your blog is the spin class posts, poor spelling and whining (I recall you made a song and dance about this at the time).

Spin class posts come and go, your spelling is improving, but luckily the whining will always be there...
