This is a picture of my father in 1943. He was wounded in the Invasion of Normandy on June 6, 1944. Today let us think about the women and men who serve this country, who put themselves in harms way for our freedom.
Just got back from watching 2 of my 3 kids march in the Memorial Day parade in Camden...it is so right that we continue the tradition of honoring those who have sacrificed everything...let's hope today's youth learns to appreciate the value of living in a country where freedom exists.
