A New Dog in Town

Watch out Evil there could be a new dog in town and his name is Dan. That's right while you are lying around on the beach sucking up Mi Tie's and nibbling on cocktail wienies Dan is kicking some butt in the Saturday spin class. I like taking Dan's class on Saturday morning because it is familiar, it's like comfort food you know what you are going to get because it is always the same. But the last couple of weeks he has been throwing in little tweaks to his routine. But this Saturday he kicked butt. I was sweating and panting like Barbaro after winning the Kentucky Derby. Plus after the workout I could hardly talk, you could say I was a little horse. Get it, Barbaro, horse. Well any who it was a hell of a workout. So Evil you had better get back soon or you could be number two on the chart. And when I do see you next I hope you will not be the 200 pound alcoholic with small colorful paper umbrellas stuck to you cloths and smell of cheese steaks and Hersey bars that I am picturing in my head. Oh the horror of it all.

Cruel. Very, very cruel... Thanks for the beautiful picture of me wrapped in Playtex. Love the mid-section too! I think that's more of a picture of me at 150 pounds though. Better go back to the edit room and revise.

Good for Dan! Hope he really is kicking your butts! I still have two weeks to chill out and gather my goodies for class in the Fall. And YES, I am enjoying it!

Off to Hershey Park with the kids and then to the Burgh with my family for my parents' 50th Anniversary Party.

See you after Labor Day!

Finally! A spin class post, not more political... stuff (stuff substituted to be more polite).

A question out there for all you spinners, is Uncle Willie brave or stupid to be always ribbing Amy?

I mean, good natured ribbing of friends goes with the territory... I know that because I do it myself.

But personally I always try to stay on the good side of Mad Dog and Bossy Boots and try to keep a low profile too (without success unfortunately).

Amy,
Hopefully you will see this message--since you missed my birthday on August 18th, I'll be looking forward to my "birthday CD" upon your return to spin class! How about a "spin through the decades" CD featuring a song or two from the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and the new millenium? Hope you're enjoying the vacation--we miss you--and yes, Dan is really zeroing in on your turf--you better get back soon for your own good!!

Mr. Snootles,
As for Willie--he is one of the bravest souls of the spinning world (no pun intended...) I imagine that Amy just lives for those enduring (oops, do I mean endearing??) comments of his. What would this place be like without his kind of humor? Anyway, I'm with you on the matter of FINALLY some spinning news--Amy better come back soon to further enrich Willie's opportunities to provide us with spinning highlights, etc.
