I wondered if anyone missed your pal yesterday. Well I want to tell you, that I was going through a little episode at the hospital. It all began Wednesdays at spin class.( my voice trails off and the story begins) I was in the throws of a good ride, and that was funny because I did not have my number 7 under me and I was feeling a little uncomfortable. Well any who the class was about 10 or 15 minutes from the end of the ride when all of a sudden I started to fill light headed. At first I was blowing it off because I am the hardest worker in spin class, then I said to myself "Hey knucklehead something is not right stop working out dick wad." So I got off the bike and went outside, in the gym, to sit down. The lightheadeddness had gone away but I was just not feeling right. So I called my wife and told her to stop by and pick me up. I did not want to scare her so I said " I think I'm having a heart attack."
So she rushed over to pick me up and we took a little trip to the emergency room. When I walked up to the women who takes the info and told her what was going on, the next thing I know is, I am in a room hooked up to a million machines and people sticking needles in my body. I wasn't too concerned up to that point, but holy crap this could be serious. Well any who they decide that I should stay overnight to do some further monitoring of my heart.
So I spent night with people waking me up at all time of the night to take blood and ask me if I am still breathing. The next morning they bring my breakfast and it is a thimble of orange juice and 1 slice of toast. Yum yummy that was so filling and satisfying. But the reason for that meal was that I was talking a sonic stress test. This is were they take pictures of your heart at rest and then they put you on the treadmill and bring your heart rate up and they take another picture of your heart as it is working very hard. Well because of the spin class I was on that dam treadmill for quite along time. They increase the speed and the angle every 3 minutes till you reach a high heart rate. It was a minute into the fourth 3 minute segment when I reached the level that the doctor wanted. So he asked me do you want to stop or do you want to go to the end of the segment. I said" bring it on doc. In Evils class this is a warm up." So when we finished the test he told me that I was very healthy and that he could not find anything wrong with my heart. So he said you can go home now and you can resume your exercise routine. So I asked him what could have cause that lightheadedness and he said "I don't know." Good answer.
I always thought that Evil would be the one to get me. But it was Victor who almost did me in. You know what I think it is those dam 1 foot exercise that are screwing me all up. But I think the real problem was that I did not have number 7. Remember that Mary, Dede and Heidi.

Just wait until you get that hospital bill for the "I don't know" diagnosis!!! Don't you just love it!
Hope you are doing OK, UW. Look after yourself.
Hey Willie,
It wasn't the one foot ankling it was the fact that he did it early in the program. he usually does it mid way when we all need a breather (obviously)
Anywho good to see you back in top form today and that was a killer class. And now that you have all this experience with Drs. and exercising I thought I should ask you do you think I should go in for my sweating profusely???It was pretty bad today and a night in a room without my kids sounds really good right now...even tho the breakfast is a bit lacking.
See ya tomorrow...(that is if I survive tonite...many, many teenagers in the plan, oh boy)
Mary
