Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these spin instructors from the swift completion of their appointed class. That should be our gals, the Evil Republican Spin Goddess, motto as she braved a snow storm yesterday to do her Monday morning class. She rushed in just as I, your pal, was at the ready to step up and run the class if she did not make it. But she was a real trooper, and ran a hell of a class with one of her tough workouts. She is in this mood lately where you match the beat of the music to your pedal stroke, all the while you are adding tension. And I want to say that it is quite the workout.
There was a young girl that was taking the class today for the first time. As the evil one was setting up ,I showed her how to set up her bike. And I always say to new riders,to take it easy and don't try to kill yourself the first time. I had found this out the first time I had taken a spin class. I went real hard after not working out for a couple of months and for 3 days after the workout I was walking like the Frankenstein monsters first steps. So with that , after the workout this young girl showed no signs of perspiration. She looked as fresh as she did before the workout. In contrast, your pal looked like I had just exited a sauna wearing a down coat.
Now call me crazy, but don't you take an exercise class to exercises. If you don't want to push yourself then maybe you should be crocheting for exercise.

I can relate... I'm veeeerrrryyy unfit at the moment, I've been busy with work and have just let most of my biking go to fit everything in.
The last two spin classes I have done have left me with splitting headache and the desire to go to bed, and that's how I used to react to spin classes when I first started taking them.
Ouch.

Snoot I have missed you, There is no one to correct my grammar and spelling. I am just out of control.
You cannot let your fitness lag, it's too important. And what are you doing working, that's crazy talk.
Hey Willie,
I guess you can't call me a trooper anymore as I blew off class tonight because of the storm. I missed teaching all of you, but I must admit it was fun staying home and keeping tabs on the election. I'm betting tomorrow on Willie's World we'll see something bashing us conservatives or Scott Brown. Just a hunch...
Any who ( as you would say) thanks for setting up the bike for the young pespirationless girl. You are Mr. Reliable in my book. I can always count on you for a good newbie bike fit. There never seems to be enough time to set up the room and position people on their rides. You are the best pal a Spinning gal could have. Thanks!
