A New Record

Mary, Mary, Mary, why are you so cruel. Yes Mary who ran Fridays spin class, now has the record for making a person taking the class, get off their bike and walk out the door. And it happen in record time,about 4 minutes. You know you are in trouble when you finish your bottle of water for the workout, while setting the height of your bikes seat. And all this is happening right next to me. The women who Mary drove out of class, looked like she was in good shape and she even told your pal that she had taken the class before and knew what to do. She must have taken it when the instructors where just mailing in the workouts I think. With the new instructors now, you are getting a very strenuous workout in every class. It's not your grandmothers workout any more.

The workout was very good and very strenuous, with lots of spin ups and hills. Mary always gives you a good workout. I am usually left panting like a husky after running the Iditarod, when the class ends. But that's what I am there for, to get a really hard and challenging workout. And this was not what that women next to me was looking for. Me thinks she was expecting a downhill glide through the magic jellybean land where you never sweat or breath heavily and it rains, not water, but Reese Peanut Butter Cup all day long. (I know it would hurt raining peanut butter cups but its my favorite candy and to be real, there is no jellybean land, and even if there was a jellybean land, eating Reese peanut butter cup would be a good reward for all the pain you get from the rain.)You know I wish there was a jellybean land.
