1.Well on Saturday it my worst fear materialized. After the spin routine on Saturday the instructor does a ab workout. And this is were the problem, for me, manifested.
Friday night my wife and I had a late dinner and that is where
it all started. The workout after the spin, for me anyway, is a lonely workout as I usually put myself all by myself in the corner, away from everyone. The reason I do this is that usually I am filled with gas and I want to be discreet and not embarrass myself spewing my personal essence.
Well last Saturday I set up for the ab workout and what happened first was that Mary setup on one side of me and Heidi set up on the other. No problem, usually as I have good control over my sphincter. But then what happened next really made me bare down and hold that control. There was no music playing for the ab workout. usually the instructor plays music during the whole routine.
So there I am lying on the floor with my legs up in the air, contracting my stomach muscles, laying within ear shot of two ladies and no music, the perfect fart storm. And that's when it happened, very quickly and with no warning. It was sort of a loud "Pop". It was done and I could not take it back it was out there for all to hear. And there was no time for me to blame either one of the ladies, I had to own it, and I did. The magic is over for me, there will be fingers pointed and there will be whispers behind my back. The Willie aura is forever tarnished, "God Dam You Rubin Sandwich!"
I had written a post on farting in spin class years ago and now I have lived it. Forgive me, please.

Steve Martin is a national treasure.
