Fallin Apart

I am changing the name of Willie's World to Willie' Medical Decline. And the reason I am changing it is because I've once again ended up in the hospital, were I am writing this post right now.

My wife and I were leaving for South Carolina on Friday. We were going to take our car to be serviced in Portland on Thursday, early in the morning. The night before I was feeling a little upset stomach before going to bed, but did not think to much about it. Well the next morning when I got out of bed I felt like I was going to pass out and my stomach ache had turned up a notch. When I sat down I was not light headed but the minute I stood up and started to walk around I had spots before my eyes and felt light headed.

OK in Willie's world this is panic time so off to the emergency room for a look see. I say hello to all of my friends at the ER, who know me by my first name now. They bring me in hook me up and lift the hood to see what the problem is. Blood pressure low, dehydrated.

"Is that all you got?" I said.

"For now." the doctor said.

So they hook me up with a IV and start with the fluids. Now I don't mean one bag I had about 5 and by the last bag in the ER I was pissing like a race horse. After a while they check my vitals again and said that I could go home.Yahoo I'm going home. Stood up to put my shirt on and the room was spinning again. I am not going anywhere.

So I am checked in and the test begin. I started with the endoscopy. This is were they stick a camera down your throat to get a look see. A what they found was a bleeding ulcer and that I was down one third on the blood. Hence the light headiness.

So they pump in a couple of quarts and I should be good to go on Monday. I feel good and I am bored out of my mind. So stay turn for more in dept reports from room 12.

Bloody hell Uncle Willie! Glad to hear you feel better. I hope it is all sorted, your hospital stay is exceedingly boring and you don't trouble the nice hospital staff for the next couple of decades.

Yo Willie,

Sorry to hear about your medical woes. Mary told me you were in SC, she didn't tell me about this !!!!! I thought I saw Monica in Shaw's Supermarket. I was in the checkout lane and she was headed out the door. Then, I thought, that can't be her she is in SC. Guess it was her after all. Well I hope you feel better buddy. I'd sub for you but I am already teaching 2 classes on Wednesday. You missed a good one today. I played a song you would have liked. "Straight to ... Number One" by Touch & Go. I can't figure out why men like that song so much.

Ta ta, Feel better!

Why can't I edit a comment after the fact ? Oh Geez, Willie I did NOT play the song that is on Youtube. It was a different version. Not that racy one that they show. It was the one that says Dreamcatcher's mix -I find you very attractive. Open mouth /insert foot - Amy. I'm such a numbskull.
