I follow a couple of blogs and what I am finding is that what I blog about and what they all bog about is completely different. I fill this blog with a kinds of crap, things that I find amusing, and what do the blogs that I follow write about. Questioning God and if there is one, the relationship between people, life changing thoughts. They are always looking at their lives and questioning themselves, are they on the right path and are they growing as human beings.
I on the other hand am writing about Pinky Lee or writing stories about farting in spin class or how much I hate Fox news. Nothing cerebral coming out of this head, no-sir-e-bob not me. My life is filled with making time to play golf, tennis and workout. That's were my head goes and not thecontemplation of God or what is it that makes me a good soul. I'll have none of that. My mind is filled with "How can I workout in the morning make it to the golf course by 10 and be back to play tennis in the evening.". And make time for my wife so she will stop saying "What about me!"
I read these blog, that I love, because they are good people, smart people who are exploring their lives and they can express themselves with wonderful stories written beautifully. I on the other hand struggle to put a coherent sentence together and don't ask men how many times I hit spell check, for get about it.
So I am feeling a little inadequate right now and I would explain it a little better but I have tee time and have to go. TTFN.
Three of my favorite blog that I check several times a day every day are:
Lodo Grdzak's Long Intermission
Everything In The Medicine Cabinet Has Expired

Loving that shout out!
ParkerSnarky. I'd say I like it cause its not Willie doing someone else's voice. Its just Willie (God awful spelling and all). If nothing else, the writing comes off as sincere. If you were contemplating great mysteries on the written blog page, I think it'd sound like you were putting on airs. Some people can do writing like that, but you can tell that's their temperament. They're genuinely cerebral and intellectual and whatnot, so that's why they can pull it off. (Not necessarily smart or wise mind you. Just educated and perhaps more serious minded).
But if Willie's World were to suddenly feature a 5 part series on the economic ramifications of the civil War from years 1862 to 1864, I'd be like, "Why isn't Willie at spin class? Something's wrong."
THANKS LODO.
We blog about what we blog about. Everybody fills a niche. Other than that, I agree with what Lodo said.
And, I very much look forward to your 5 part series on 'the economic ramifications of the civil war from years 1862 to 1864'.
I don't know if I am going with the civil war subject or with my explanation of "Towards Scalable Parallel Simulation of the Structural Mechanics of Piezoelectric-Controlled Beams."
Oh I like the sound of that last post idea (not!). But at this point, I'll give any Willie's World post a shot at a read.
