Monday I gave the Evil Spin Goddess a DVD of the Beatles music too put together a routine for a class. Well the reaction I got from her just pushed me back on my heels. She said that she would not be able to put together a routine because the music was too old and that she would not be associated with music that old. Also it would be almost impossible to put together a class using this music. I guess it was just me in thinking that she was a little bit above everyone else who do these classes, but I guess not. She will use classical music from oh say, two or three centurys ago, but Beatles music, no way. Let's see if Maroon 5, Nickelback, Tool or Kanye West music will be played in 40 years. I don't think so. I guess I will have to lower that pedestal that I had put her so high up on. Sorry Evil I thought you could do it all. I guess you are not super human and that brings a tear to my eye.

Willie,
I love the Beatles. I have tried to incorporate some of their music but I haven't been successful in finding the right type of profile to use them in. I could go on and on about how I select music but I think I will wait to see what your spin buds have to say about an "All Beatles" spin mix. Personally... it wouldn't motivate me to roll out of bed let alone climb a hill. They make feel old. But that's me. What does everyone else want?
Amy
Relax and stay in bed it's not worth all that much effort. I'm just a piece of of dog crap that doesnt know shit from shinola and that I have no significance in this world. I'll be dead in a couple of years so you won't have to put up with your Pal anymore. I am going out right now and dig a hole and climb into it and cover myself up with dirt.
PS I am taking my Beatles disks in the hole with me.
One of our favorite things at EPCOT is the Beatles cover band. They are so much fun. Oh and hands down the best concert I have ever been to was Paul McCartney. Love the Beatles. Oh I know, let's all go to Vegas and see that show with their music!! FUN! :-)
I sympathise with you Uncle Willie. It is always hard to come to terms with learning your idols have feet of clay.
On the other hand, what were you thinking? Don't get me wrong I love the Beatles, but I can't think off the top of my head of a Beatles song with a beat you could spin to.
Suggestions, anyone?
Get Back,Back in the USSR to name just a few.
Everybody Got Somthing to Hide Except for Me and My Monkey and I really believe that I do have nothing to hide and either does Zippy.
OK, fair call on Get Back. I stand corrected.
Maybe a less lofty amibition would be to work one Beatles song into a spin class every now and then.
Is that a possibility, Evil?
I have to admit I get pumped from the old school songs at spin. At my gym they play lots of techno crap.
