One Favorite From Beatles

A Hard Days Night

Yesterday in the town of Rockland Maine at a refurbished movie theater, our house guests (from New Jersey) and my wife and I, saw the movie A Hard Days Night. Every once in a while this theater will show older classic movies and me being a Beatles fan just had to drag our quests alone. The theater was filled to capacity with every age group from 6 to 60. And every time there was a song sung on the screen everyone in the theater was singing along. All and all it was a great time and a great movie. I ever wore a old neru jacket, Beatle boots and a Beatle wig and was quite the sight as the police were putting me in the squad car. Yeah-yeah-yeah.

A Little Tune for Ya

I could still go on and on about my triumphant spin class on Saturday, but I don't want Evil to take it out of the rest of the class, because of jealousy. So here is a Beatles tune, one of my favorite's.

Monday I gave the Evil Spin Goddess a DVD of the Beatles music too put together a routine for a class. Well the reaction I got from her just pushed me back on my heels. She said that she would not be able to put together a routine because the music was too old and that she would not be associated with music that old. Also it would be almost impossible to put together a class using this music. I guess it was just me in thinking that she was a little bit above everyone else who do these classes, but I guess not. She will use classical music from oh say, two or three centurys ago, but Beatles music, no way. Let's see if Maroon 5, Nickelback, Tool or Kanye West music will be played in 40 years. I don't think so. I guess I will have to lower that pedestal that I had put her so high up on. Sorry Evil I thought you could do it all. I guess you are not super human and that brings a tear to my eye.
