Unfair and Unbalanced Fox News

I caught this on the Internet and it is Megan Kelly, from Fox's American Election, interviewing Bill Burton, a Obama spokesperson, about how Fox is spreading misinformation about Mr Burton' s candidate, Senator Obama. After watching the clip I will list the segments I watched on Fox's American Election on Tuesday. You can make up your own mind if it is fair and balanced.

OK, I could not watch the whole show because my blood pressure was starting to rise. So here is what I had seen.

First story was about what a Democratic majority would be like. The only person to comment was a Republican with no rebuttal from the fair and balanced hosts.

Second was a story about the justice department saying that there will not be lawyers at polling venues. The only spokesperson was a Republican who stated that the people who changed the rule gave money to the Obama campaign. At the end of the interview the women did mention that some of the justice people gave to McCain. But it was not the same amount of money.

Third story was about Joe Biden gaff about where people making under $250,000 will get a tax break. Biden misspoke and said $100.000. They did have two people to argue the meaning of the gaff. But the spokesperson for the right talked without any interruption while the spokesperson for the left was talked over.

The fourth segment was about a rumor that a newspaper had a tape of Obama at a affair with someone from the Palestine government. It has not been released but that did not matter with the Fox spokesperson who was guessing what it was about. And that it would be very bad for Senator Obama.

The fifth segment was about General Petraeus talking about meeting with the Taliban in Afghanistan. And that was OK with Fox even thought Obama has been saying, meet with your enemies and Fox has been saying that is crazy. But as long as someone other than Obama is saying it it is OK.

I had to change the channel I could not take it any more. But this is fair and balanced.
