Mondays spin class music was directed at your pal. Not in a good way, but in a sour grapes sort of way. The songs that she chose where suppose to make me mad. But you know what ,your pal is way above that. Our Evil Spin Goddess is, I can hardly say it, a Republican. You know, now that I come to think of it, it really fits her personality. The evilness, like Cheney, and it's my way or the highway of GW Bush. I can picture Evil in her lair with the music blasting and her genuflecting in front of a alter with a giant picture of Bush hanging in the background and the bones of small animals, that she sacrificed in a pile on the alter, to the Republican war lord.
Getting back to the class which was a really excellent one. The music was great even without the message that Evil had sent. But I am going to suggest the music for the next class, and it will start with:
I'm a loser by the Beatles
Jesus Was A Democrat by Everclear
It Ends Tonight by All American Rejects
Our Time Now by Plain White T's
Pocket Full of Sunshine by Natasha Bedingfield
Winner by Chris Brown
Winner Takes it All by Styx
I'm a Winner by Twista
Number One by Catlow
Number One Spot by Ludacris
Change by Deftones
Changes by David Bowie
We are the Champion's by Queen
Oh I could go on forever but I am not that kind of a person. And my only wish for Evil is that her puppy never learns to poop outside. Is that mean of me? No.

Willie,
Ha, Ha, Ha...
First let me say that yesterday's ride was not a "sour grapes" ride. Yes, I was disappointed that McCain lost but was decidedly moved by how the racial barriers had been broken and also inspired by the hope everyone seemed to have for our new administration.
Yesterday's ride was designed to be fun, thought provoking, a little cynical, comical and even serious at times; highlighting many of the election and campaign issues we had all been debating about for so long. My point was that we should consider all the issues (both red and blue) and come together as a people to fight for freedom, a greener world, a higher ground and continued hope. I tried to poke a little fun at your "blueness", but it wasn't centered around hatred or mean spirited at all.
For the record, I would never worship any political figure. I save all that for quiet reflective moments at night & Sunday mornings with my Higher Power.
You can go ahead and make fun of my conservative views all you want. I can take it. Still friends- even though I'd really like to smack you right now. I guess I'll save that for class next week. Better be on the lookout Willie Boy...
:-) AMY
