Your pal ran his Wednesday morning spin class and it was a pretty good one me thinks. It was all about going down a hill at a good clip and then climbing a hill at not such a fast clip. I guided the class up and down and up and down for an hour. They all seemed to like the ride as there were a lot of sweating and groaning from everyone.
The class was filled with mostly regulars. Mary, Dede, Tom, Dolly, the Wendy's and a couple of women who are inching their way from interloper to regular. But I want to call out a women who has taken a couple of classes in the past, and who seems to forget how to set up her bike for class. First of all she was late getting to class, and then had to have one of the regulars set up her bike for her, even though she has taken the class before. And then to top things off she had to leave after working out for about 10 minutes, because she was having a tough time keeping up. Well jingonetties, I don't know how many time all of the instructors have said "Work at your own pace." And then I hear that she did not know what the terms were, for instance "faster, slow down, stand up, have a drink and the ever popular sit down. I know some times it can be tough understanding the three positions for the hands 1,2 and wonderful number 3. Spin class is not rocket science, you can usually pick it up in about 5 minutes. If you have trouble understanding the movements look around at the other people to get a clue.
All in all it was good class, except, your pal being annoyed a couple of times. It seems the microphone for the instructors is broken and I had to use Evils, which she graciously left for everyone to use. There were a couple of problems for me with her system. One of them was that I keep getting a lot of feed back all through the workout. This was very annoying as I had to get off the bike about 15 times to try to make some adjustments. But it was to no avail, I finally had to abandon it in the end. The second problem was the microphone fit. It seems that Evils head is no bigger than a coconut. She has what we call a pea head, and that is why I could not make it fit around my average sized noggin. Oh well I made it work by stapling it to my skull. Painful yes, but it worked out.
So like I said, a good workout was had by all.
Here is one of the songs by Ever clear that I used during the ride.

Pea head.... ha ha ha ha. The reason why it is all taped together is because the darned thing snapped the 2nd time I used it because I couldn't get it to fit over my coconut. It is even too small for me. I have to weave the wires around my ear to get it to stay on. I thought you and Mary were getting your own headset. What ever happened to that mission?
