Living Ground Hog Day

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

With the election of Scott Brown in Massachusetts once again the populace have forgotten about the last eight years of conservative rule. Will Rogers once said, "The short memories of American voters is what keeps our politicians in office." But as Democrats face a tough mid-term election, it might just be the other way around. And it is only possible because Americans have forgotten what their country looked like under conservative rule. That is the problem of our times it is that we forget very fast. Under their rule we had two wars that should not have been started, the attack on the world trade center, Katrina and taking what was our great prestige around the world and trashing it. Corruption in the justice department and trashing our rule of law and the constitution. We are living Ground Hog Day and it is not a good thing for us all.

Americans didn't forget Willie. They're just scared, so they're falling back on what they know.
