The Far Right and the White House

On Rachel Maddow show Tuesday night she went after Fox News for its role in pushing the Shirley Sherrod story. She also criticized the White House for continuing to fall for Fox's network's stunts. Listen to the her report here.

I am always hearing that the Obama administration should stop trying to appease the far right and just follow it's own agenda. And I never thought about it till this Shirley Sherrod story. But the White House does not want to stand up to the Fox News,the Glen Becks and the Rush Limbaugh's of the world. The right can put something out there, even if it is a lie and the White House will react and not in a good way. A couple of examples are this Black Panther voter intimidation that Fox is pushing. Vin Jones having to resign because of Glen Becks rants and now the Shirley Sherrod thing. Note to White House, stop trying to win over the people who are out to destroy you, do your own thing. You will be better off in the long run and it will most likely help our country move on.
