I just had to add this today because it is a perfect example of Fox News being fair and balanced. This is what the viewers of Fox get 24/7. This is why the viewers of Fox, in very high numbers, believe every falsehood about the government health care proposal. How can we have a real dialog, about a very important issue, when millions of people are lied too and mislead every day on a so called new channel.

Keep in mind that these people seek out this kind of misinformation. They don't want to hear good things about single payer healthcare/Democrats/The President/Hollywood,etc. Fox News is only there because there's a market demand for it.
How do you convince people to want to know what is really true?
I think the main stream media has to call out these lies, Look how long itr took to debunk the death panels lies. I think you could sustain a 24 hour program on cable just to debunk all of the lies and misleading statemnets on Fox alone.
The people over at media matters have certainly made a living off of that premise.
That's why I love them so much. What I really like about Media Matters is that it's just not Fox, although they are the biggest speakers of untruths, its all of the media, The Times, Cnn,and even MSNBC
